Description:

Asthalin Respules contains Salbutamol, a short-acting bronchodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, helping to open them up. This medication is commonly used to provide quick relief from bronchospasm caused by conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The respules are intended for use with a nebulizer, which converts the liquid medication into a fine mist, allowing for inhalation into the lungs.

Asthalin is fast-acting and provides relief from acute symptoms like wheezing, shortness of breath, and coughing. It helps to relax the airway muscles, making it easier to breathe.

Uses:

• Asthma: Provides relief from acute asthma symptoms and prevents bronchospasm.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults and Children (12 years and older):

  • 1 to 2 respules (2.5 mg or 5 mg) administered via nebulizer as required, usually every 4 to 6 hours for acute symptoms.

• Children (6 years to 12 years):

  • 1 respule (2.5 mg) as required, or as prescribed by the doctor.

• Children (below 6 years):

  • Typically prescribed 1 respule (0.5 mg or 2.5 mg) as required, based on the child’s condition and severity of symptoms.

How to Use:

1. Open the Asthalin Respule by twisting off the cap.

2. Pour the liquid into the nebulizer chamber.

3. Use the nebulizer as per the device’s instructions to inhale the medication.

4. Inhale deeply through your mouth and continue until the medication is fully dispensed.

5. If a second dose is required, repeat the process as directed.
