Description:

Atavir 300 mg contains Atazanavir, a protease inhibitor used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs (ART) for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It works by blocking the protease enzyme, preventing the virus from multiplying, reducing viral load, and helping restore immune function. Atazanavir is commonly combined with Ritonavir (as a booster) for enhanced effectiveness.

Uses:

Atavir 300 mg is prescribed for:

✔ HIV-1 Infection Treatment – Part of combination antiretroviral therapy (ART)

Dosage & Administration:

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next dose—do not double dose.
