Description:

Budecort Rotacaps 400 contains Budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid used to treat and prevent asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The rotacaps are designed to be used with a rotahaler inhalation device that delivers the medication directly into the lungs, where it works to reduce inflammation in the airways. By controlling inflammation, Budecort helps prevent asthma attacks, improves airflow, and reduces the symptoms of COPD.

Uses:

• Asthma: Helps control asthma symptoms by reducing airway inflammation, preventing asthma attacks, and improving lung function.

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Reduces airway inflammation in COPD patients, improving airflow and decreasing symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.

• Allergic Rhinitis: May be used to alleviate nasal symptoms caused by allergies when prescribed by a doctor.

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults and children (12 years and older):

  • Typically, 1-2 rotacaps (400 mcg each), once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the symptoms, as prescribed by a doctor.

• Children (under 12 years):

How to use:

1. Prepare the rotahaler device by inserting the rotacaps into the inhaler.
