What is Careprost?

Careprost is a Bimatoprost 0.03% ophthalmic solution used for:
✔ Eyelash Growth Enhancement – Helps grow longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes in people with hypotrichosis (inadequate lash growth).
✔ Glaucoma & Ocular Hypertension Treatment – Reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) to prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.

How Careprost Works:

✔ For Eyelash Growth: Extends the growth phase of eyelash hair follicles, leading to longer, fuller, and darker lashes over time.
✔ For Glaucoma/Ocular Hypertension: Increases the drainage of aqueous humor from the eye, reducing intraocular pressure and preventing damage to the optic nerve.

Dosage & Application:

✔ For Eyelash Growth Enhancement:

• Apply one drop on a sterile applicator and gently spread along the upper eyelid lash line (once daily, preferably at night).
• Do not apply to the lower lash line to avoid unwanted hair growth.
• Visible results in 8 to 12 weeks with consistent use.

✔ For Glaucoma & Ocular Hypertension:

• Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to avoid contamination.

Precautions & Warnings:

⚠ Avoid use if allergic to Bimatoprost
⚠ Temporary eye redness, irritation, or darkening of eyelid skin may occur
⚠ Do not apply to lower eyelashes to prevent unwanted hair growth
⚠ Remove contact lenses before application and wait 15 minutes before reinserting
⚠ Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice
