Description:

Duzela 40 mg contains Duloxetine, a Serotonin-Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitor (SNRI) used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, and neuropathic pain. It works by increasing serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain, which helps improve mood, reduce pain, and alleviate anxiety.

Uses:

Duzela 40 mg is commonly prescribed for:

✔ Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) – Helps manage symptoms of depression.
✔ Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) – Reduces excessive worry and nervousness.
✔ Neuropathic Pain (Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy) – Relieves nerve pain associated with diabetes.
✔ Fibromyalgia – Helps reduce widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue.
✔ Chronic Pain Conditions – Treats lower back pain and osteoarthritis-related pain.

Dosage & Administration:

• Usual Adult Dose: 40 mg to 60 mg once daily, taken with or without food.

• Starting Dose: 40 mg per day, which may be adjusted based on response.

• Maximum Dose: 120 mg per day (only as prescribed by a doctor).

• Route of Administration: Oral – Swallow whole with water (do not crush or chew).

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered. If close to the next dose, skip the missed dose—do not double dose.
