Product Description & Uses

Entavir 0.5 mg contains Entecavir, an antiviral medication used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It helps reduce the amount of virus in the body, slows liver damage, and improves liver function.

🔹 Indications:
✅ Chronic Hepatitis B (HBV) infection in adults and children (≥2 years old)
✅ Reduces the risk of liver complications (cirrhosis, liver failure)
✅ Helps in managing HBV in patients with compensated liver disease

Dosage & Administration

• Usual Adult Dose: 0.5 mg once daily on an empty stomach

• For Lamivudine-resistant HBV: 1 mg once daily

• Taken at least 2 hours before or after a meal

• Do not skip doses to prevent resistance development
