Description:
Entehep 1 mg contains Entecavir, an antiviral medication used for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It works by blocking viral replication and reducing the amount of virus in the body, helping to slow down liver damage and improve liver function. Entecavir is commonly prescribed for patients with active HBV infection, liver inflammation, or cirrhosis caused by the virus.
Uses:
Entehep 1 mg is prescribed for:
✔ Chronic Hepatitis B Infection – Lowers HBV viral load and prevents further liver damage
✔ Liver Cirrhosis due to HBV – Helps manage and slow down liver deterioration
✔ Post Liver Transplant HBV Prevention – Reduces risk of reinfection
Dosage & Administration:

Usual Adult Dose: 0.5 mg to 1 mg once daily, depending on liver condition and HBV viral load.

Recommended Dose: 1 mg once daily for treatment-resistant or advanced liver disease cases.

Route of Administration: Oral – Take on an empty stomach (at least 2 hours before or after a meal).

Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next dose—do not double dose.

Precautions & Warnings:
