Product Description:
Foracort Rotacaps 400 is a combination inhalation therapy used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide reduces airway inflammation, while Formoterol relaxes airway muscles to improve breathing. This dual-action treatment helps prevent asthma attacks, wheezing, and shortness of breath.
Uses:
Maintenance treatment of asthma
Long-term management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
Helps prevent bronchospasms and airway inflammation
Dosage & Administration:
Adults & Children (above 6 years): 1 rotacap twice daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Important: For inhalation use only with a Rotahaler (not to be swallowed).
Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral infections (thrush).
Side Effects:
Common: Throat irritation, dry mouth, headache
Less common: Tremors, nausea, palpitations
Rare: Severe allergic reactions, increased heart rate, muscle cramps
Precautions & Warnings:
Not a rescue inhaler for sudden asthma attacks.
Use with caution in patients with heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
May interact with beta-blockers, antifungal drugs, and corticosteroids.
