Description:

HCQS 200 mg contains Hydroxychloroquine, a medication primarily used for malaria prevention and treatment. It is also widely prescribed for autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and lupus (SLE) due to its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties.

Uses:

HCQS 200 mg is prescribed for:

✔ Malaria (Prevention & Treatment)

Dosage & Administration:

• For Malaria Prevention: 400 mg once a week (starting 2 weeks before exposure, continuing for 4 weeks after travel)

• For Malaria Treatment: 800 mg initially, followed by 400 mg after 6-8 hours, then 400 mg daily for 2 days

• For Rheumatoid Arthritis & Lupus: 200-400 mg daily as prescribed by a doctor

• Route of Administration: Oral – Take with food to reduce stomach upset.

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless close to the next dose—do not double dose.
