Description:

Uses:

Rifagut 400 mg is prescribed for the treatment of:

✔ Traveler’s Diarrhea – Caused by Escherichia coli (E. coli).
✔ Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea (IBS-D) – Helps manage symptoms of bloating, diarrhea, and discomfort.
✔ Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) – Reduces excessive bacterial growth in the gut.
✔ Diverticular Disease – Used to control bacterial infections in the colon.
✔ Bowel Infections – Treats certain bacterial infections in the intestines.

Dosage & Administration:

• Traveler’s Diarrhea: 400 mg three times daily for 3 days

• IBS-D & SIBO: 400 mg two to three times daily for 10–14 days (as prescribed).

• Route of Administration: Oral – Swallow whole with water, with or without food.
