Description:
Viraday is a fixed-dose combination antiretroviral (ARV) medication used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It contains Tenofovir (NRTI), Emtricitabine (NRTI), and Efavirenz (NNRTI), which work together to reduce the viral load and slow the progression of HIV/AIDS.
Uses:
Viraday is prescribed for:
✔ HIV-1 Infection Treatment – Used in combination therapy for managing Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
✔ Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) (Off-label use) – Sometimes prescribed to prevent HIV infection after potential exposure.
Dosage & Administration:

Usual Adult Dose: One tablet once daily, preferably on an empty stomach at bedtime to reduce side effects.

Route of Administration: Oral – Swallow whole with water.

Missed Dose: Take it as soon as possible, but do not double dose.
Side Effects:
