Description:

Aerocort Forte Rotacaps is a combination inhalation therapy designed for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions. It helps reduce inflammation in the airways while also relaxing the muscles of the respiratory tract, making breathing easier.

Uses:

• Treatment of asthma and COPD.

• Provides relief from wheezing, shortness of breath, and chronic cough.

• Helps in controlling exercise-induced bronchospasm.

  How It Works:

• Beclometasone Dipropionate (200 mcg): A corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling, and mucus production.

• Levosalbutamol (100 mcg): A bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, allowing easier breathing.

Dosage & Administration:

• Standard Dose: 1 Rotacap, 2-3 times daily (as prescribed).

• Method of Use:

  • Do not swallow the Rotacap.

  • Insert into a Rotahaler (inhalation device) and inhale deeply.

  • Hold breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly.

  • Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral infections (thrush).
