Description:
Ciplox Eye Drops contain Ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that effectively treats bacterial eye infections by inhibiting bacterial DNA synthesis, thereby stopping bacterial growth. It is widely used for conjunctivitis (pink eye), corneal ulcers, and other bacterial infections of the eye.

Dosage & Administration:

For Bacterial Conjunctivitis:
-
Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours while awake for 2 days, then reduce to every 4 hours for the next 5 days.

For Corneal Ulcers:
-
Instill 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 15 minutes for the first 6 hours, then every 30 minutes for the rest of the first day. From the second day onwards, apply 1 drop every hour, and from the third day, reduce to 1 drop every 4 hours until completion of the treatment.

Administration Guidelines:

Wash hands before use.

Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

Instill the prescribed number of drops without touching the dropper tip to avoid contamination.

Keep eyes closed for a few seconds after instillation.
-
If using other eye medications, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.
