Description
Betagan Eye Drops contain Levobunolol 0.5%, a non-selective beta-blocker that helps lower intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by reducing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), thereby preventing optic nerve damage.
Uses

Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma – Helps reduce high eye pressure.

Ocular Hypertension – Prevents vision loss due to elevated IOP.
Dosage & Administration

Recommended Dose: One drop in the affected eye(s) once or twice daily, as prescribed.

Close eyes for 1–2 minutes after instillation and apply gentle pressure to the inner corner to reduce systemic absorption.

Wait at least 5–10 minutes before using other eye medications.
Side Effects
