Description:

Pilocar Eye Drops contain Pilocarpine Nitrate 2%, a cholinergic agonist (miotic drug) used to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by constricting the pupil and increasing the drainage of fluid from the eye, helping to prevent optic nerve damage.

Uses:

✔ Treatment of Glaucoma (Open-Angle & Acute Angle-Closure Glaucoma)
✔ Reduction of Intraocular Pressure (IOP) in Ocular Hypertension
✔ Reversal of Pupil Dilation after Eye Examinations or Surgeries
✔ Used in certain eye conditions to improve near vision

Dosage & Administration:

• General Dosage: 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.

• Route of Administration: Ophthalmic (for external eye use only).

• Missed Dose: Apply as soon as remembered, but skip if it’s almost time for the next dose.

Side Effects:
