Product Description:

Foracort Rotacaps 200 is a combination inhalation therapy used for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Budesonide is a corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, while Formoterol is a bronchodilator that helps relax the muscles of the airways, making breathing easier. This dual-action treatment is designed to prevent asthma attacks, wheezing, and breathlessness.

Uses:

• Long-term treatment of asthma

• Maintenance therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Helps prevent bronchospasms and airway narrowing

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children (above 6 years): 1 rotacap twice daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.

• Important: For inhalation use only with a Rotahaler (do not swallow).

• Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral infections (thrush).

Side Effects:

• Common: Throat irritation, dry mouth, cough

• Less common: Nausea, headache, tremors, palpitations

• Rare: Severe allergic reactions, muscle cramps, increased heart rate

Precautions & Warnings:

• Not a rescue inhaler for acute asthma attacks.

• Use with caution in individuals with heart disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure.
