Product Description:

Foracort Rotacaps 100 is a combination medication containing Budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, and Formoterol, a long-acting bronchodilator that helps relax the muscles in the lungs. This dual-action formula helps manage symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by improving airflow and preventing breathing difficulties.

Uses:

• Treatment and management of asthma

• Long-term control of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Helps prevent wheezing, shortness of breath, and airway inflammation

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children (above 6 years): 1 or 2 rotacaps twice daily, as prescribed by a doctor.

• Rotacaps should be used only with a Rotahaler (not to be swallowed).

• Rinse the mouth after each use to prevent oral infections (thrush).

Side Effects:

• Common: Sore throat, headache, cough, dry mouth

• Less common: Tremors, muscle cramps, increased heart rate

• Rare: Severe allergic reactions, vision problems, high blood sugar

Precautions & Warnings:

• Not recommended for acute asthma attacks (use a rescue inhaler instead).
