Description:

Nitro G 2.6 mg contains Glyceryl Trinitrate (GTN), a nitrate medication used for the prevention and treatment of angina pectoris (chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, improving blood flow, and reducing the heart’s workload. This medication is commonly prescribed for patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).

Uses:

Nitro G 2.6 mg is prescribed for:

✔ Prevention of angina (chest pain) caused by coronary artery disease
✔ Management of chronic stable angina
✔ Treatment of heart-related conditions where vasodilation is required
✔ Adjunct therapy in heart failure (as prescribed by a doctor)

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: Typically 1 tablet (2.6 mg) taken orally 2 to 3 times daily, or as prescribed by a doctor.

• Route of Administration: Oral – Swallowed whole with water, preferably on an empty stomach.

• Do not crush or chew the tablets.
