Description:

Travoprost Eye Drop is a prostaglandin analog used to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby lowering eye pressure and preventing optic nerve damage.

Uses:

✔ Treatment of Open-Angle Glaucoma
✔ Management of Ocular Hypertension

Dosage & Administration:

• Recommended Dose: 1 drop in the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the evening.

• Route of Administration: Ophthalmic (for external eye use only).

• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, skip it and continue with the next scheduled dose—do not double-dose.

Side Effects:

✔ Eye redness or irritation
✔ Increased pigmentation of the iris (may cause a gradual change in eye color)
✔ Eyelash growth and darkening
✔ Mild itching or discomfort

Serious side effects (seek medical attention immediately):
