Description:

Budecort Rotacaps 200 mcg contains Budesonide, a highly effective corticosteroid used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It works by reducing inflammation in the airways, preventing airway narrowing, and making breathing easier. The medication is delivered through a rotahaler device, which allows precise inhalation of the medicine directly to the lungs.

Uses:

• Asthma (Long-term management of symptoms and prevention of asthma attacks)

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children (above 12 years):

  • Inhalation of 1-2 Rotacaps daily (200 mcg per Rotacap), divided into two doses.

  • Adjust dose according to the doctor’s advice based on the severity of symptoms.

• Children (below 12 years):

  • Not recommended for use in children under 12 years unless prescribed by a healthcare professional.

• Administration:

  • Open the Rotacap and place it into the Rotahaler device.
