Description:

HepBest contains Tenofovir Alafenamide (TAF), a new-generation antiviral drug used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It is a prodrug that delivers higher intracellular concentrations with lower systemic exposure, reducing the risk of kidney and bone toxicity compared to its predecessor, Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF).

Uses:

HepBest is prescribed for:

✔ Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis B (HBV) Infection – Helps reduce viral replication
✔ Liver Health Protection – Slows disease progression and prevents liver damage
✔ Reduction of HBV Complications – Lowers the risk of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma

Dosage & Administration:

• Standard Adult Dose: One tablet (25 mg) once daily, taken with food to enhance absorption.

• Duration of Therapy: Long-term use may be required as per doctor’s recommendation.

• Route of Administration: Oral – Swallow whole with water.

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next dose—do not double dose.
