Product Description:

Hiflo 100 Rotacap contains Budesonide, an inhaled corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the airways. It is used for the long-term management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). By controlling airway inflammation, it helps prevent asthma attacks, wheezing, breathlessness, and other respiratory symptoms.

Uses:

• Maintenance treatment of asthma

• Management of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Reduces airway inflammation and prevents asthma symptoms

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children (above 6 years): 1 or 2 rotacaps twice daily, as prescribed by a doctor.

• Important: Rotacaps should be used only with a Rotahaler (not to be swallowed).

• Rinse mouth after use to prevent oral infections (thrush).

Side Effects:

• Common: Throat irritation, cough, dry mouth

• Less common: Headache, nausea, hoarseness

• Rare: Severe allergic reactions, vision problems, adrenal suppression

Precautions & Warnings:

• Not for acute asthma attacks (use a fast-acting inhaler instead).

• Use with caution in patients with osteoporosis, infections, or diabetes.

• May interact with antifungal drugs, antibiotics, and other corticosteroids.
