Description:

Efavir 600 mg contains Efavirenz, an antiretroviral medication used in combination with other drugs for the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It works by blocking the reverse transcriptase enzyme, preventing the virus from replicating and reducing the viral load in the body. Efavirenz helps strengthen the immune system, slow down disease progression, and lower the risk of HIV complications.

Uses:

Efavir 600 mg is prescribed for:

✔ HIV-1 Infection Treatment – Used in combination antiretroviral therapy (ART)

Dosage & Administration:

• Usual Adult Dose: 600 mg once daily, taken at bedtime to reduce side effects.
