Product Description:

Foracort Inhaler 400 is a combination inhalation therapy used for the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains Budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, and Formoterol, a bronchodilator that helps relax the airway muscles for easier breathing. This inhaler is recommended for regular maintenance therapy to control symptoms and prevent flare-ups.

Uses:

• Long-term control of asthma

• Maintenance therapy for moderate to severe COPD

• Prevention of breathing difficulties, wheezing, and bronchospasms

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults & Children (above 12 years): 1-2 puffs twice daily, or as directed by a doctor.

• Shake well before use.

• Rinse mouth after inhalation to prevent oral infections (thrush).

• Not to be used as a rescue inhaler for acute asthma attacks.

Side Effects:

• Common: Sore throat, dry mouth, cough, headache

• Less common: Hoarseness, tremors, muscle cramps, increased heart rate

• Rare: Severe allergic reactions, vision changes, high blood pressure

Precautions & Warnings:

• Use with caution in patients with heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, or thyroid disorders.
